Love God, Love Others, Reach the World.

Tim Tapp has served as Senior Pastor since May 2005.  He came to Immanuel with seventeen years of ministerial experience.  He is a native of East Tennessee and served as a youth minister prior to entering pastoral ministry.  He enjoys preaching and pastoral care/visitation.  In his spare time he enjoys reading biographies, drinking coffee, and spending time with his family.  He is active in the Watauga Baptist Association and the Sequoyah Council Boy Scouts of America where he is the Cubmaster of Pack 39.

Tim is a graduate of East Tennessee State University and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has served churches in Indiana, South Carolina, North Carolina, and East Tennessee.
     "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I have come that they        may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."    John 10:10

Serving as Minister of Music and Education, Mike Foreman joined the ministerial staff of Immanuel in June 2009 after having completed thirty-one years as a public school educator, including teaching at the elementary, high school, and college levels and serving as principal for both elementary and middle schools in Middle Tennessee.  Teaching remains one of his great loves.  He and his wife raised two fine sons and now have two lovely daughters-in-law and a wonderful grandson.  Mike enjoys whatever time he can spend with family as well as exploring the beauties of the East Tennessee mountains.

Mike is a graduate of The University of the South, Middle Tennessee State University, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
              "But he was pierced for our transgressions,
                    He was crushed for our iniquities;
               The punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
                    And by his wounds we are healed."       Isaiah 53:5

Justin Carson has been serving as Immanuel's Minister of Youth since the summer of 2005.  A native of nearby Jonesborough, Justin continues to be thankful for his wonderful family:  parents Jim and Donna, and sisters Ashley and Brittany.  Justin devotes a vast amount of his time to the demands of youth ministry, and his varied interests allow him to develop strong relationships with Immanuel's teenagers.  He enjoys working out, playing sports, having fun, watching movies, and having more fun.

Justin completed his undergraduate studies at Milligan College in 2005 with a degree in Bible Ministry with emphasis in youth ministry.
