The Immanuel Baptist Church Women's Mission Union (WMU) is an active, involved group of women who practice the Lord's Great Commission.

What is WMU?
The purpose of WMU is to lead the church as a body to become involved in missions, both here at home and around the world.

- Develop a missions lifestyle
- Participate in the work of the local church and the SBC
Current Projects
- Diaper ministry with the Carter County Health Department: Diapers are packed with Home Life magazine, Parent's Life magazine, and a church brochure. These packets are given to new mothers who are being visited by Home Health nurses during the first year of the baby's life.
- Hale's Ministries Laundry Project: Quarters are donated to Hale's Ministries to be dispensed to residents of Lynnwood/Lynnridge Complex for laundry purposes. Hale's Ministries staff and volunteers provide Bible study and witnessing.
